Heritage Makers Christmas Books
Christmas is over and my tree has one lone present left under it. Luckily I am still eating leftover buckeyes (thanks Sis!). Here are the heritage maker gifts I gave this year for Christmas.
First, the Christmas Card I sent to my close friends and family. I received many compliments on how nice the card turned out! This is a screenshot of the inside, to view the entire card, click the image (or use this link: Christmas Card 2008).

This year I made both my niece, Hannah, and nephew, Adam, their own storybooks. Since Hannah is almost 3, I made her storybook all about her with simple sentences so she can start to identify words. I’ve heard that she has requested the book be read every night to her since receiving it – so I’ll take that to mean that she loves it. For Adam’s storybook, I was running out of time, so I used a template from the Heritage Makers Template Gallery (this baby boy brag book template), and dropped in photos of Adam from the past 9 months. Heritage Makers Holiday Workshop
On Sunday, November 23rd, I will be hosting a holiday workshow to help you get in the Holiday Spirit and create the best holiday gifts you will ever give. Start your book or poster AND finish your holiday cards that afternoon.

Updates to Heritage Makers
Hard to believe that it’s fall already and time to start thinking about the holidays. This will be a quick post with what’s new at Heritage Makers and upcoming holiday publishing deadlines.
First, the Heritage Makers website recently received a facelift and slight changes in navigation. They have also added a new template gallery full of great ideas and templates you can purchase to help get you started on any kind of project. If you have any questions or can’t find something, feel free to contact me! Also check out the tutorials for introductory and intermediate classes.
In Heritage Studio the new features are the additon of an Undo button and alignment buttons. I’m happy to see the alignment buttons as I was constantly using the ruler to align objects and it took too long.
I’ve recently finished my Hawaii vacation book. Thanks to Trish, Lisa and Kelli for an awesome girl’s trip!!
